This 12" x 200 yard VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibiting) paper roll delivers continuous chemical vapor protection for ferrous metal components during storage and transit. At 35 lb. basis weight, the paper releases corrosion-inhibiting molecules that form a protective molecular layer on metal surfaces, blocking moisture, oxygen, and corrosive elements without direct-contact coatings, oils, or greases.
VCI paper is well suited for manufacturing facilities, metalworking shops, industrial distributors, and warehousing operations where ferrous parts — including machined components, tooling, hardware, and assemblies — require protection during shipment or long-term storage. Complete wrapping of individual parts or lining the interior of a box or container provides the highest level of protection.
The standard application guideline is one square foot of VCI paper per cubic foot of enclosed packaging volume. Each roll weighs approximately 9.74 lbs. and is sold individually.
